OUR STORY

Quality, not quantity

I think travel should be experienced. You should get lost in the streets, discover a hole-in-the-wall ceramic store, and smell your way to the best bakery in town.

But I don’t want to waste my limited vacation time at a crappy restaurant or throw my money to some corporate tourist trap, so I always end doing research. With limitless TripAdvisor reviews, newspaper top 50 lists, and personal travel blogs, it’s too easy waste hours of time on the internet instead of enjoying your vacation. Even worse, a majority of reviews are fake or paid for by the very places I want to avoid.

I launched this site because travel can be truly phenomenal anywhere in the world. I’m lucky enough to have traveled the globe and visited numerous places on and off the beaten path. As a former diplomat, I have friends that have lived in just about every country in our world who I bug for tips and advice. Even better, I’ve met locals from so many of these towns, and many of them share my thirst for quality.

  • The freshest and tastiest food, whether it’s from the taco shop around the corner, the hidden taverna of a Michelin star restaurant you don’t need reservations for, or the little restaurant located at the back of grocery store. I just want authentic, tasty, and quality food experiences.

  • I want to know the one museum that is worth spending a whole day indoors for, which are the historic sites worth their entrance fees, and what is the must-do hike with the best vistas.

  • What are the neighborhoods I should spend my time in, and what are their vibes.
